    How to Remove JS:Clicker-N[Trj]?

    The JS:Clicker-N[Trj] is a malicious application considered as a Java Script Trojan virus. This dangerous application uses the security breaches in the Adobe applications to enter in any windows based system. Once installed successfully in any system, the JS: Clicker-N [Trj] is capable of create a series of attacks on your system files, registry entries, and also on your confidential data. Once installed on any system, this dangerous Trojan virus immediately modifies the windows registry by creating new entries to make it able to start automatically every time the user starts the computer. If left un-removed, this malicious application can make your computer totally useless. This malware has the ability to create a backdoor for other similar threats by disabling the antivirus program and other security tools installed on the infected computer. After installing on any computer, it will connect that PC to a remote server, and start recording your online activity.

     

     

    The Instructions for Remove JS:Clicker-N[Trj]

    After knowing that the  JS:Clicker-N[Trj] has infected your system you need to get rid of this malicious application from your system quickly. There are two options available for removing this dangerous virus. These options are, by using any automatic removal tool, or by following the manual removal instructions. Following are the manual removal instructions:-

     

    Select the Safe Mode

    The first step of this manual process is to reboot your computer in the safe mode. You have to restart the system when your computer is running in the normal mode. When the system is in restarting process, you have to press F8 key to see the boot options, and select the safe mode option from the list of different options, before press Enter key to boot your computer in the safe mode.

    Remove the Associated Processes

    You also have to remove the associated processes of the JS:Clicker-N[Trj]. In this regard, you have to open task manager window which can be accessible by pressing the Ctrl+Alt+Delete keys together. Once you are able to access the task manager window, you have to click on the processes tab, Here you can see a list of running processes from which you have to find and remove  the following processes:-

    • %AppData%\[RANDOM CHARACTERS]\[RANDOM CHARACTERS].exe

    Remove the Files and Folders

    You also need to delete the files and folders created by this malicious application after getting installed it on your system. In this regard you have to delete the following files:-

    • %Desktopdir%\JS:Clicker-N[Trj].lnk
    • %Programs%\JS:Clicker-N[Trj]\JS:Clicker-N[Trj].lnk

    Remove the Corrupt Registry Entries

    Without getting rid of the malicious registry entries created by this Trojan virus, the manual removal process will not consider as complete. First you need to open the registry editor with the help of Regedit command which can be executed through the Run option available in the Start menu. Once the registry editor is accessed, you have to get rid of the following entries before closing the registry editor:-

    • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\JS:Clicker-N[Trj]\DisplayIcon %AppData%\[RANDOM CHARACTERS]\[RANDOM CHARACTERS].exe,0
    • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\JS:Clicker-N[Trj]
    • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\JS:Clicker-N[Trj]\UninstallString “%AppData%[RANDOM CHARACTERS][RANDOM CHARACTERS].exe” -u
    • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce\[RANDOM CHARACTERS] %AppData%\[RANDOM CHARACTERS]\[RANDOM CHARACTERS].exe
    • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\JS:Clicker-N[Trj]\ShortcutPath “%AppData%\[RANDOM CHARACTERS]\[RANDOM CHARACTERS].exe” -u
    • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\JS:Clicker-N[Trj]\DisplayName JS:Clicker-N[Trj]
