Reboot the Computer in the Safe Mode

The stubborn Trojan viruses cannot be removed until you run your computer in the safe mode instead of the normal mode. The normal mode needed to be terminated before starting the computer in the safe mode. Use F8 key while the machine is in restarting process, and choose safe mode from the list, and hit the enter key to restart the system in the safe mode.


Delete the Malicious Processes

Once the infected system restarted in the safe mode, you have to get rid of the malicious processes attached to the Open the task manager by using the Ctrl+Alt+Delete keys, and hit the processes tab to remove the following processes:-



Delete the Associated Files

Once you have successfully removed the associated processes, you have to find and delete the associated files as well as folders associated with this threat. In this regard, you have to browse through the system files folder and find the following files:-

Clean the Windows Registry

After removing the files and folders, you have to delete the registry entries that are created by this malicious application. You have to open the registry editor by making a click on the start button available at the bottom of your screen, select Run, and type regedit in the box. Once the registry editor started, you have to find as well as delete these entries:-

  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\

  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\\UninstallString “%AppData%[RANDOM CHARACTERS][RANDOM CHARACTERS].exe” -u

  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce\[RANDOM CHARACTERS] %AppData%\[RANDOM CHARACTERS]\[RANDOM CHARACTERS].exe

  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\\ShortcutPath “%AppData%\[RANDOM CHARACTERS]\[RANDOM CHARACTERS].exe” -u

  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\\DisplayName

After successful removal of the registry entries created by this dangerous application, you have to close the registry editor, and restart the system in the normal mode to see the effect of changes you have just made.
